Ronald G. Compton
History & Expertise
Graduated from Arizona State University where he obtained a degree in Accounting. Later, he attended The University of Arizona Law School and has been practicing law since 1985. His clients range from the very modest to the very wealthy.
35 Years of Experience:
Before forming Compton Law, Ron practiced law at an excellent Mesa, Arizona law firm where he learned business and real estate law, together with probate, trusts, and wills. Ron also has worked as a consultant with the Houston-based firm TPG where he focused on charitable planning with 501(c) (3) organizations.
Ron has been married to Lisa for over 35 years and has four children and ten grandchildren. He is also very active in his church and community affairs and loves to golf, hike, and make pottery.

Clients like working with Ron because he takes time with them, relates to them, and treats each person as the unique individual that they are.
History & Expertise
Andrew attended the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Arizona Law Review. Before law school, he graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. Andrew also recently served for a year as an appointed member of the Governor's Advisory Council on Aging, a position that gave him unique insight into matters confronting Arizona's elderly population.
Andrew began his career working for a prominent Phoenix firm where he represented clients in sophisticated real estate and business matters. Those big-dollar transactions demanded a high-level of attention to detail, a skill Andrew now uses every day to serve the clients of Compton Law. He recently joined forces with his father, Ron Compton, where they bring a combined 35+ years of legal experience to bear in serving the estate planning needs of their clients.
Andrew considers himself lucky to work with a great mentor and friend like his father, Ron. When not hard at work, Andrew treasures spending time with his wife and two young children, learning and experiencing new things, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
Ransom H. Young
History & Expertise
Ransom received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geospatial Intelligence from Brigham Young University in 2010. After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he then graduated from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.
After graduating from law school, Ransom worked as in-house counsel with an investment advisory firm. He then continued his focus on the financial aspects of the law by working in the corporate tax department of a Fortune 1000 company. From there, Ransom honed his litigation skills first as a trial attorney for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, and then as a solo practitioner defending parents and children in cases involving the Arizona Department of Child Safety. Since joining Compton Law, P.C., Ransom has focused his practice to include all aspects of estate planning, including probate, trusts, wills, and other varied succession plans.
Ransom enjoys spending time with his family, the great outdoors, and watching NBA basketball.
